OceanPlanet Energy (OPE) is excited to announce that Solbian has released a totally new programmable version of their All-In-One solar panel and controller – the All-In-One Solution 2.0. Unlike the previous versions 13.8v single stage charging, the AIO 2.0 allows the installer or consumer to easily monitor the output and select from a variety of charge parameters and voltages using a unique Wi-Fi signal emitted by the controller. The charge controller’s Wi-Fi interface allows users to choose a 12v or 24v output with pre-programmed charge settings for lithium, AGM, and flooded lead acid. However if they are required, custom parameters are easily set within the same interface.
These semi-flexible silicon monocrystalline panels reach an industry leading 24% efficiency when converting sunlight to usable energy. The ruggedly built MPPT controller is mounted on the panel and independently controls the output, allowing direct connection to batteries or a DC positive bus bar. The controller has a water resistant rating of IP 68, meaning it can withstand complete submersion in water beyond one meter for more than 30 minutes. Individually controlled solar panels reduce the problem of partial shading found on larger interconnected solar arrays. The All-In-One series panels are built using UV resistant plastic laminates and high efficiency Maxeon Gen 3 back-contact photovoltaic cells. Each cell generates roughly 3.4 watts of usable energy. The panels can handle up to a one-meter bend radius in a single direction. All-in-One panels can be attached to boats or other surfaces using VHB tape, grommets, or custom frames.
